He married Darla Wright in 1980 and they lived together in Dallas, Texas. Together they raised 5 children Tina, Jerry, Brandi, Trisha, Tracy. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Robert graduated from Terrell High School in 1978.
Robert served his country in the U.S Military .
