Robert David McDuffieRobert David McDuffie died on Wednesday January 4, 2017 after a short illness. David was born on September 27, 1967 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital to Juanita and the late Robert V. McDuffie. A loving and devoted husband, son, brother and uncle; He is survived by his wife and best friend of 19 years, Catherine (Marie Crider) McDuffie, his mother Juanita, brother Donald (wife Cheryl), sister Debbie Golden (husband David), nephews and nieces Allan Golden (wife Lisa), Sean McDuffie (wife Dani Lynn), Stacey Holloway (husband Justin), Joshua Golden, great nephew and nieces Katy, Daniel & Lily Golden. David was employed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He enjoyed his work and was happiest when outdoors, close to nature. He was loved and respected by his colleagues and all with whom he came in contact. David was a kind, gentle, hard-working man who will be missed by all who knew him. He lived a life that exemplified his Christian faith. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday January 7, 2017 at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Quincy, Florida. Viewing and visitation will precede at 10:00 am. A graveside service will be held at the East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church cemetery in Graceville, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, P.O.
