Robert BarrettCliveRobert Barrett of Clive passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017, at Methodist West Hospital in West Des Moines. A visitation is planned on Tuesday, October 31 at 10am, with a memorial service at 11am at Hope Lutheran Church in West Des Moines where Bob was a member.Robert Quinn Barrett was born on October 22, 1932, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to William Thomas Barrett and Helen Miriam (Fitzpatrick) Barrett. On November 21, 1956, Robert married Patricia Loomis in Alliance, Nebraska. Bob is survived by his wife Patty of Clive; son Brad Barrett (Sally) of Des Moines; daughter Barbara Barrett of Prairie Village, Kansas, and grandchildren Will, Quinn, Sophie, Hope, and dear family friend Pamela Nerheim. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bill.
