Rita M. Rusho, 95Rita M. Rusho, 95, of North Liberty, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Coralville. Following services the family would like to invite guests to Rita's home for a lite lunch. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Rita Rusho Memorial Fund. Rita was born on June 28, 1922 in Adelphi, IA, the daughter of Everett and Naoma (Timmons) Kuhns. She was united in marriage to Edward Rusho on February 27, 1965 in Omaha, NE; he preceded her in death on August 22, 1985. Rita enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, anything outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.Rita is survived by her four daughters, Romona (Larry) Keller of Boonesville, IA, Linda Swan of Mt. Vernon, IL, Alvilda Rusho of Owatonna, MN, and Rita Templeton (Jeff Martin) of East Moline, IL; step-son, Greg (Bonnie) Welsher of Hampton, IA; 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Melvin (Colleen) Kuhns of Guthrie Center, IA; and many extended family.Rita was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward.
