Kinch (Schilling) Rita M. (Schilling) Kinch, age 92, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was born on March 25, 1924 to the late, Otto and Katherine (Brenner) Schilling in Columbus, Ohio. Rita was a devoted member of St. James the Less Catholic Church for over 64 years. She was a member of the Companion of Precious Blood, the Resurrection Choir, the Funeral Ministry, the Friendship Club and attended bible study with the Renew Group at the church. Rita worked at Ohio Bell and the State of Ohio. Along with her parents, Rita is preceded in death by husband of 46 years Cyril Kinch, brothers Julius "Jay", Paul, Herb and Richard "Dick" Schilling, sister Marie Lingo and son-in-law Joe Rathhaus. Surviving are children, Janet Rathhaus, Tom (Colette), John (Cindy), James (Dawn) and David Kinch; grandchildren, Megan (Aaron) Waldeck, Sarah (Cody) Greeno, Martha and Greggory Kinch; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Zoey Greeno and Sophia Waldeck; sister-in-law, Nancy Schilling; special friend Diane Bagdassarian; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a prayer service will be held at 2 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Fr. Clarence Williams, Celebrant.
