Rita Strickland of Haughton, Louisiana passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 73.
She was born on April 21, 1951 to Vernon and Dolores St Martin in Puyallup, Washington. Rita was married to James P Strickland in 1969 and together they raised 6 children: Maudie Galven, James P Strickland JR, Terry Strickland, Jerry Strickland, Kristina Strickland, and Michael Strickland.
Rita was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always knew how to make people smile.
She is survived by her 6 children, and 13 grandchildren. and 13 Great Grand Kids.
Rita's infectious laughter and warm spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. You will Never be forgotten.
