Mr.RICKEY LEVON PETTUS was born on July 25 1959 in Madison County, Alabama to Shelby Hammond and Iretta Pettus.God called him home Saturday, December 7,2019  at his home surrounded by friends and family..

Rickey accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age at Saint James Presbyterian Church in America under the leadership of Pastor McKinney Jones.

Rickey worked for the city of Huntsville for 30 years until his health declined him.

He was preceded in death by his father Shelby Hammond his mother Iretta Pettus and his brother Robert Pride.

Rickey leaves to cherish his memories two loving daughters and one son.Demica (Quinton) Burwell of Cleveland,Ohio and Mekesha Allison of Huntsville AL,one son Joshua Pettus from Dustin, Fl.two sister both of Huntsville AL Brenda Briggs.Johnnie Davidson, one brother Wayne (Lydia)Pettus of Huntsville AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and dear friends.
