RED BLUFF, CA. - Richard R. Girard, 59 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Richard was born on July 26, 1957. He married Penny Girard on July 21, 1990. Rich loved life and the outdoors. He loved to fish, cook, bike and kayak. He was the Network Administrator for the California State Park system. Richard is survived by his wife, Penny; children, Steven, Matthew, and Lindsay; mother, Agnes Girard; brothers & sisters, Perry (Becky) Girard Racine, WI, Edward Girard of Washington, Genevieve Wright, Sharon (Steve) Ferreira, and Jeannine (Cheryl) Girard all of California; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Girard and two great nephews, Timothy & Dean. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 3pm in the Red Bluff Community Center.
