Richard "Richie" Paul Welch, 53HARTFORD CITY - Richard "Richie" Paul Welch, 53, passed away at 5:12 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital ER.He was born on May 9, 1964 in Hartford City Richard O. Welch and Jessie L. (Rogers) Welch.Richie graduated from Blackford High School in 1982. He also received his Bachelor's Degree from Ball State University. He served in the National Guard.He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Kendra M. (husband, Jason) Ebert of Fairmount; granddaughter, Kamdyn L. Ebert; companion, Zelma West Skinner of Hartford City; father, Richard O. Welch of Hartford City; sisters, Veronica J. (husband, Dennis) Clingler of Ohio; Mary Ann Corvin of Goshen; Tina Marie Skinner (companion, Kyle Buckner) of Hartford City; Bobbie J. Willett of Hartford City; brother, Frederick "Freddie" C. (wife, Sherry) Welch of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his mother, Jessie L. Welch, sisters Ida Mae Alborg, Amy June Welch and brother, Worden "Willie" E. Welch.Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City.
