Richard V. Rich Herr1936 - 2013Richard V. Rich Herr, 77, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center.He was born on June 3, 1936, to the late Clarence and Anna (Roder) Herr in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.On Dec. 1, 1955, he entered the U.S. Air Force. He was in the 92nd Air Police Squadron at Fairchild AFB in Washington. He was honorably discharged on Nov. 10, 1958.On Sept. 6, 1958, he married Frances L. Winsper in Spokane, Wash.Rich worked at AMC/Chrysler in the motor division for 33 years, retiring Dec. 31, 1991. He was a member of UAW Local #72.Rich was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his family.Rich is survived by his loving wife, Frances; his children, Tina (Ronald) McNutt of Kenosha, Rodney V. (Laurie) Herr and Richard F. Herr both of Iowa, his siblings Harry (Helen) Herr of Cornell, Wis., Ivalene Parrish of Kenosha, Clarence (Patricia) Herr of Kenosha, Anna Mae (Raymond) Statezny of Crandon, Wis., and Christine (David) Sandberg of Kenosha; his eight grandchildren and his eight great grandchildren.Funeral Services for Rich will be held on Monday, Dec. 23, at 12 p.m. (Noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
