Richard L. Griffin, Sr. 1937 - 2015Richard Griffin, Sr., 78, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015, at UHS-Kenosha.Richard was born on Jan. 30, 1937, in Atlanta, Ga., the son of the late Clarence and Grace Griffin. He was educated in the schools of Atlanta. He married Ella Pore on Feb. 2, 1958, in New York City. He was a member of the U.S. Navy. Richard was employed at Chrysler for many years. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Kenosha. His hobbies included music and was an avid sports fan.Survivors include his children, Richard Griffin Jr., Tyrone (Celia) Griffin, DeAngelo Griffin all of Kenosha; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles, and sisters, Rubina, Barbara, Doris, Ella Mae, and Emma Jean.A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, with funeral services to follow at 12 Noon.
