Richard David Seefelt, age 92, of Oscoda died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Hospice House in Holland, Mich. Richard was born on Nov. 25, 1920 in Detroit. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. Richard worked for 35 years for AT&T and retired in 1975 to Oscoda where he enjoyed working in his yard. Richard is survived by his son, Michael (Kathy) Seefelt of Holland, Mich.; sister, Carol Cook of Oscoda; brother, Joseph D. Seefelt of Grand Rapids; grandson, Brian (Melissa Luster) Seefelt; granddaughter, Laine (Payton Durr) Seefelt; great granddaughter, Tallulha; and great grandson, Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldene; and second wife, Vera. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oscoda from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
