Richard Swigeart Jr., known to friends and family as Dick, passed away on June 4, 2025, in Columbus, Mississippi, at the age of 73. He was born on December 14, 1951, to his loving parents, Richard and Mary Swigeart.

Dick leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, as well as three children who will always cherish his memory: Richard and his spouse Elizabeth, DeWayne, and Dennis. He was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren.

Dick had a zest for life and a passion for making people smile. He was known for his quick wit and infectious sense of humor, always ready with a joke or a clever quip to brighten someone's day. He had a talent for storytelling and could captivate a room with his tales of adventure and mischief.

Despite facing challenges in his battle with cancer, Dick maintained his optimism and never lost his sense of humor. He showed incredible strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew him with his unwavering spirit.
