Larson, Richard D.Richard Darryl Larson, age 69, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton surrounded by his family.Rik was born on May 23, 1947 in Washington D.C. son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Schwaller) Larson. Rik was a 1965 graduate of St Mary Catholic High School, Menasha. Rik formerly resided in San Francisco, California; New York, New York; Marathon Key, Florida, and was presently of Appleton. Rik was an accomplished chef, landscaper, musician, writer and an awesome Key Lime Pie maker. He had several articles written in the Miami Herald.Rik is survived by his three siblings, Risa (Verne) Thibodeau, Appleton; Bob (Ann) Larson, Madison; and G. Steven (Debra) Larson, Waukesha, and by nieces, nephews and a special friend, Grace O'Connell.Per Rik's wishes no services will be held.
