Richard C. Anderson RACINE – Richard C. Anderson, 97, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was born on May 21, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Otto and Gunda Anderson. He was united in marriage to Shirley Burns in Chicago, IL. He was a co-owner of Reliable Steel Rule Die for many years. Richard was a former member of Meadowbrook Country Club and the Masonic Lodge. He loved golf and enjoyed reading western novels, especially those by author, Louis L'Amour. Surviving is his daughter, Karen Anderson, grandson, Derek Drohan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley on January 20, 1993 and a daughter, Dawn on February 20, 2011. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
