Richard Boyd, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 31, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He was born on January 5, 1957, to Sam and Tonya Boyd.

Richard was a devoted husband to his wife, Sidney Boyd, whom he married in the year 25. Together, they raised four children: Nyla Boyd, Iman Boyd, Donny Boyd (spouse Nitra Boyd), and Layla Davis (spouse John Davis). Richard also had two cherished grandchildren.

Richard attended Truman High School before continuing his studies at Alabama State University. After completing his education, he pursued a career in auto body repair at Boyd's Auto Body Repair.

In his free time, Richard enjoyed fishing. He had a deep love for the outdoors and often spent weekends on the water, enjoying the peace and tranquility that fishing provided him.

Richard Boyd will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his family, and his passion for his work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
