Gone But Never Forgotten

Richard Blankenship, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 3, 2025, in Big Bear Lake, California at the age of 71.

Richard was born on August 12, 1954, to Victor and Geraldine Blankenship. He married the love of his life, Samantha Brewster, in 1974 and together they raised three wonderful children: William, Clint, and Lincoln.

Richard was known for his love of woodworking and traveling. He could often be found in his workshop, crafting beautiful pieces of furniture for his family and friends. His passion for exploration took him to faraway places, where he collected stories and memories to share with his loved ones.

Richard's warm smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Although he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through the laughter and love he shared with his family.

Richard passed away from a sudden heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that will never be forgotten. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the American Heart Association. There is no formal service planned.

You can to the family or in memory of Richard Blankenship.
