Richard Rivers, beloved husband, father, and mechanic extraordinaire, passed away on October 29, 2024, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on September 10, 1966, to Leroy and Edith Rivers.
Richard leaves behind his son, Malik Evans, who attended Berkeley High School and inherited his father's love for tinkering with cars. Whether he was fixing up an old classic or simply giving advice on how to change a tire, Richard was always happy to help.
His passion for mechanics was only surpassed by his love for his family. Richard will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and unwavering devotion to those he held dear.
In the end, it was heart failure that took Richard from us, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Richard Rivers, and may your engines always run smoothly in the great beyond.
