Richard Earl Ivy 53, of Grand Rapids Michigan died Thursday, June 23 peacefully in his home.

Mr. Ivy was born September 24 1968 in Tupelo Mississippi to Eric and Thelma (Holt) Ivy.
He attended Tupelo Lee Vocational High in Tupelo. He continued his education at Itawamba Community College., graduating with an associate's degree in construction management.

He enjoyed football, playing Scrabble with his family, and attending basketball games with friends. He genuniley loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children., Tamara Ivy, Kanesha Ivy, Richard Ivy, Jasmine Ivy, and Nyasia Ivy; brothers and their spouses, Eric Jr. and Leah Ivy, and Thomas and Maggie Ivy; several nieces and nephews ; and special friend, Eva Gibson of Manhattan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eric Ivy
