Ricardo was born in Ypsilanti MI the fourth child of Edward and Elizabeth Sowell. He grew up in Inkster MI and was a member of Taylor High School class of 1972 where he played football and participated in the marching band.Ricardo was a wonderful father who supported his children in everything they did.He served as a life coach to some members of his church.Ricardo enjoyed watching football and basketball mentoring youth working out traveling and reading Ricardo married Brenda Sanders on November 3 1984 She services. He also leaves behind two sons Ricardo and Brandon Sowell aa daughter Ashley Dickson grandchildren Daunte, Natalie, Brookylon, Duke ,sisters Lous, Camille,Turner, and brother Anthony Sowell he preceded in death by his parents and sister Madeline Penson
