With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rhoda Walker on March 7, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rhoda was born on July 6, 1979, to her loving parents Lewis and Roger Walker.

In 2023, Rhoda married the love of her life, Charles Hodge. Together, they had a beautiful blended family of six children: Lena Llyod (spouse Allen Llyod), Shelby Walker, Candice Williams (spouse Alexis Williams), Gracie Hodge, Levi Hodge, and Eli Hodge. Her family was her pride and joy.

Rhoda had a passion for sewing and gardening, spending countless hours creating beautiful pieces and tending to her garden. She found joy in the simple things in life and always had a smile on her face.

Unfortunately, Rhoda's life was cut short by lung cancer. She fought bravely until the end, surrounded by her loving family.

Although she may be gone, Rhoda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Rest in peace, dear Rhoda. You will be deeply missed.

Rhoda preferred a quiet gathering so we are honoring her wishes by having a small intimate gathering with family and friends after we recieve her ashes back .
