Reinfrid "Fred" B. Siebensohn passed away at home on August 23, 2017 in Sacramento, Calif. He was born on August 28, 1937 in Vienna, Austria and grew up and went to school in Austria and Germany. He received a Master's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Vienna.Fred started work in Zurich, Switzerland for Escher-Wyss. While in Zurich, he met his wife Dorothea and married in Vevey, Switzerland in 1961. Fred moved with his family to the U.S. (York, Penn.) where he worked in the Hydro Division for Allis-Chalmers. He was later employed with General Electric in Schenectady, N.Y. He represented both companies worldwide.After GE, he moved to Auburn, Calif. and joined the American Hydro Corporation where he was in charge of sales for the Western U.S. and Canada. Fred was active in the Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister and he also did volunteer work for the Auburn Food Closet.
