Reginald Gene Ellison was born in Bolivar, Tn on August 29, 1964, to Rev .Eugene Ellison Jr and the late Lovie Jimmerson Ellison Chism.

Reginald confessed Christ at an early age at Clover Chapel Baptist Church, later in life he joined Hillfield Baptist Church. He attended Bolivar Central High School.

He worked for Standard Construction Company, AutoZone Trucking, Hooper Sawmill, Hardeman County Highway department and various other jobs.

He was a lover of gardening, hunting, fishing, riding horses, cooking and washing vehicles.

Reginald departed his earthly life Saturday February 14, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Reginald was proceeded in death by his mother, Lovie Mae Jimmerson Chism, his paternal grandparents: Eugene (Jabbo) & Ethel Mae Ellison Sr. Maternal grandparents: Richard E & Dazzie Lee Jimmerson. Reginald leaves to cherish his memories: Two sons, Nicholas (Kelsey) Ellison of Barlett Tn, Kyle (Kendra) Ellison of Mt Juliet Tn, His parents: Rev. Eugene (Lorene) Ellison Jr, of Bolivar Tn, two brothers: Jeff (Mark) Ellison of Dallas Tx, Darryl (Sharon) Foster of Jackson Tn, four sisters: Tonya (Fredrick) Perry, Atrice Ellison of Bolivar Tn, Gretchen (Dennis) Bills of Jackson Tn, Phyllis Ellison of Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
