Refugia Deanda DuranSan AngeloRefugia Deanda Duran, of San Angelo, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 10, 2017. She was born on May 18, 1923, in San Saba, Texas. She married Socorro Duran on September 23, 1941 and together they had 12 children, five sons and seven daughters.Refugia is preceded in death by her parents, sons, husband and a sister.She is survived by her brother, Trindad; sister Juana; and children Polo Duran, Cheo Duran, Josie Gallegos, Marylou Moreno, Sara Villarreal, Beatrice Elmer, Olivia Duran, Ermalinda Gonzales, and Lucie Villarreal, all of San Angelo,Texas. Refugia had 26 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers for the service are Mario Rodriguez, Michael Villarreal, Robert Moreno, Justin Santellano, Adam Duran, Wayne Villarreal and Nicholas Castillo.Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with burial at 12 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
