It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reden Villanueva on January 29, 2026, in Makati City, National Capital Region, Philippines. He was born on January 2, 1970, to Apollo Villanueva and Luisita Mendoza Villanueva.

Reden was a beloved husband to Emelita Sunga Villanueva for 35 years, a loving father to Rachel May Villanueva Espiritu, Renzo Villanueva, Rafael Villanueva, Ranzel Mark Villanueva, and Rihanna May Villanueva. He was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren.

He attended Laiya National High School for his secondary education and went on to study at The University of Manila, where he graduated in 1995.

Reden dedicated his professional life to serving the City Government of Makati, where he worked tirelessly for many years.

Reden will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
