Rebecca L. "Becky" Mahnke, 72, of Wauseon passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Heartland of Wauseon. Mrs. Mahnke was born on June 4, 1945, in Wauseon, the daughter of the late Harold and the late Betty (Leininger) Nofziger. On Nov. 3, 1973, she married Jerry Mahnke, and he survives.

Rebecca had worked at the former McCord Corporation in Wauseon for 17 years. She had also been a lifelong homemaker. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

Also surviving are her sons, Troy (Dawn), Matthew (Kristy), Joseph (Erin), and Jeremy (Katie); grandchildren, Holly, Hope, Luke, Dustin, Madisyn, Makayla, Mason, Alona, James, Cameron, Tyler, and Lawson; sisters, Barbara (Jim) Short, Patty (Lamar-deceased) Gisel, Connie Nofziger, and Lisa Nofziger; and brother, Tim Nofziger.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Nofziger.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, with Pastor Pete Chestnut officiating. Interment will follow in Wauseon Union Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family 9-11 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
