McDevittRebecca G. McDevitt, age 83, of Cincinnati, OH died on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Rebecca was born on December 13, 1933 in Grassy Creek, KY. She is remembered with love by her husband, Thomas K McDevitt, children Juliann Long, Rosanne Tinsley (Michael), Luan Martin (Peter), and Daniel G Eckelman (Krista), eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and three sisters. She is preceded in death by her first husband, George A Eckelman, parents, Geneva and Edward Carter, along with loving brothers and sisters. Rebecca's hobbies were flower arranging, traveling, golf, and playing bridge. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed Tom's passion for Xavier basketball. To know her was a blessing. To feel the power of her love was a gift. She talked to angels and they all knew her name. She laughed at fear and was afraid of nothing. She did not shy away from the sword and will not stand still in heaven when the trumpets sound. She will remain in the hearts of all whom she touched and her love will stay alive in all our hearts. With all the love she gave us, she will walk with us forever. Heaven now, has the most beautiful angel of all. We love you.
