Raymond H. Mampe, Jr.1936 - 2014Raymond Mampe, Jr., 77, of Pleasant Prairie passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family. Raymond was born on Oct. 1, 1936, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Raymond and Viola (Hasselbrink) Mampe Sr. He was educated in the schools of Chicago, graduating from Lane Tech H.S. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He married Carol Lockwood in 1982 in Palos Park, Ill. He was employed as a supervisor at Com Ed for 37 years. His hobbies included fishing and attending his grandchildrens sporting events. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Pleasant Prairie, a son, Steven (Annmarie) Mampe of New Lenox, Ill.; his sister, Geraldine (Paul) Polidori of Cincinnati, Oh.; a sister-in-law, JoAnn (John) Willand of Hinsdale, Ill.; nephews, Michael Polidori, Michael (Julie) Willand; grandchildren, Steven, Jessica, and Kevin; and his ex-wife, Constance Mampe. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.
