Raymond "Ray" Kirkland, 63, departed this life November 4, 2017 at his home in Monroe.  He was born August 9, 1954 in Terre Haute, IN to Jesse and Louise Baxter Kirkland.

Ray moved to New York as a teenager, and graduated from Goshen High School in 1972.  He worked in construction around the community for several years.

Ray is survived by his three children: Kimberly Houston, 40, of Middletown; Jesse Kirkland, 31, of Republic, MO; Brandon Kirkland, 22, of Bartow, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
