Raymond Dalton, 67, of Danville, Virginia, passed on July 26, 2022. Raymond was born on April 03, 1955 in Pittsylvania County, Va. to the late Levi Blair Dalton and Gloria Lucille Coleman-Dalton. He is also preceded in death by his brother David Daltn, and his granddaughter Kayla Danyell.

Raymond served honourably in the U.S. Army. He was a jokester who loved to make
others smile and laugh. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He enjoyed card
games, Bingo, shooting pool, hanging with his buddies and his trusted dog Tia
stayed by his side. He was excellent at fixing things and had skilled hands when
it came to building things. He was a jack of all trades and even played Santa
for the kids at Christmas time. His presence could light up any room and his jokes
never stopped. He had a passion for life and lived his to the fullest.  

Left to cherish his memories are: His daughter Brandy Crews (Shiblee) of Durham
N.C., his stepson Timothy Lee of Durham, N.C. His loving sisters Carol Barber,
Rhonda Reynolds of Danville, Va., Joyce Brumfield (Glenn) of Chatham Va., and
Vickie Jackson of Greensboro N.C.. He also leaves behind is faithful furbaby,
Tia was with him til the end and countless other friends and relatives.
