Rasmia Abouamra of Troy, Illinois, passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on June 16, 1953, to her parents Mohammad and Ibtisam Abouamra.

Rasmia was a loving wife to Massoud, whom she married in year 45. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Maysa, Rami, Hani, Sari, and Yami. Rasmia was a devoted mother who always put her family first.

In addition to her children, Rasmia leaves behind 8 adoring grandchildren.

Rasmia will be remembered for her kind heart, quick wit, and delicious cooking. She was known for her infectious smile and unwavering love for her family.

Although she will be deeply missed, Rasmia's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
