Rashan Murray, beloved husband, father, and community member, passed away on February 27, 2024, in New York, New York, at the age of 54. He was born on January 1, 1970, to Reginald and Gladis Murray. Rashan is survived by his partner Shawana Scott and their four children, Deon Closson, Daivon Scott, Shadee Murray, and Shyasia Murray.

Rashan was a dedicated software developer and also spent his time helping others as a volunteer at the YMCA organization. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Outside of work, Rashan enjoyed playing basketball, singing, cooking, and producing music. He was passionate about music and loved sharing his talents with others.

Rashan's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, compassion, and service to others will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Rashan fought a valiant battle against cancer, but ultimately succumbed to the disease. He will forever be remembered for his strength, courage, and unwavering faith.
