Randy WaltzRunnellsRandal G. Waltz, age 67 of Runnells, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Runnells Christian Church. Burial will follow at Lowman Cemetery. Visitation for Randy will take place on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the Runnells Christian Church or the Animal Rescue League. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.comThe son of Glen and Helen (Flaugh) Waltz, Randy was born on August 30, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduate from North High School. Randy was a member of the Runnells Christian Church. He enjoyed listing to music from the 50's and 60's, animals and loved the Green Bay Packers.Those left to honor his memory include two brothers, Greg (Martha) Waltz of Newton, Alabama and David (Debbie) Waltz of Des Moines and several nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and father and a brother, Mike Waltz. The family would like to thank the staff at Norwalk Nursing & Rehab for all the special care they gave Randy.
