Ralph Henson, 73, of Walking Stick Rd. Jasper, VA died on Sunday January 27, 2019 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. Born March 3, 1945 in Boone, NC; he was the son of Ralph Sr. and Shirley Henson. Mr. Henson was a member of Alvis Chapel in Jasper.

Ralph enjoyed his outdoor activities including riding his bicycle along the New River Trail, and was especially fond of building model cars with his daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Henson; daughter Jackie Farrington and husband, Craig, of Fleetwood; three grandchildren, Boyd Greene of Fleetwood, Danielle Carlton of Deep Gap, and Ashley Watson of Fleetwood. Four great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Shirley Henson.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Sturgil Cemetery in Jasper.
