SCHWARTZ Rachel Y. Schwartz, 79, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away January 28, 2017. She was born on September 28, 1937 in Charlotte, NC to parents John D. Yow Sr. and Virginia (Adcock) Yow. Mrs. Schwartz was a homemaker and a member of the Orange Park Eastern Star; Khem Temple No. 85 Daughters of the Nile and the Moose Lodge No. 2020. She loved to go bowling and tending to her garden. Mrs. Schwartz will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Dale Schwartz; son, Douglas McClenny and brother, John David Yow, Jr. and his wife Geraldine (Gerri) Yow. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 11, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Jim Weldon officiating.
