Queen Reid, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 21, 2024 in Smithfield, North Carolina, United States. She was born on February 8, 1952 to Henry and Clara George .

Queen is survived by her loving husband and six children: Ruby Hargett (Leroy), June Douglas (Stanley), Deborah Atkinson (Donald), Naomi White (Curtis), Tony George (Judy), and Deron George (Meko). She was a dedicated mother who always put her family first.

Queen graduated from Johnston Central High School in 1970. She was a hardworking and devoted member of her community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Throughout her life, Queen battled cancer with courage and strength. Her perseverance and positive spirit inspired all who knew her.

Queen will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
