Haynes , 94 of Zanesville died Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Genesis Health Care.She was born on September 13, 1921 in Clark County, South Dakota the daughter of Frank D. Hutchison and Agnes E. Lacy Hutchison.Phyllis was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a graduate of Newark High School and the Newark City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a charter member of the Green Thumb Garden Club, a member of the Board of directors of the Zanesville Art Center, a former member of the Bethesda Guild, Authors Club, Zanesville Country Club and also a former member of the Board of Genesis Hospital.She is survived by her five children; Dr. Rick D. (May) Haynes, Dr. Bob E. (Gerri) Haynes and Tom E. (Susan) Haynes, Jan L. (Roger) Eberhardt and Ann H. (Joe) Calland; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. Earl R. Haynes and three sisters. Friends may call 4 to 7 pm on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Chow officiating.
