Priscilla Watkins, age 61, passed away on November 7, 2023 in Los Angeles. She was born on June 6, 1962 to the late Charles Collins and Stella Johnson.

Priscilla was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a vibrant personality and was always surrounded by people.Priscilla Ann Collins was born to the late 

Stella Johnson and Charles Collins On June 06, 1962 In New Orleans Louisiana. She was 1 of 6 children and has always believed in making her own path.Priscilla was a very intelligent young lady, even at an early age, Priscilla always made straight A's in school and always manage to be at the top of her class.She was a teacher's aid as a child and when the principal was asked to give a speech at other schools and couldn't make it, Priscilla would often get chosen to speak in their Place. As she got older

her interest led her to work at the Compton Courthouse as a secretary for one of the judges, a position she was proud to hold. Priscilla was a person who would constantly change her path and reinvent herself.Many of you know her as Lisa,this is a name that she gave herself when she first moved to Lynwood.

She made sure everyone knew her new name, even my mom had to address her as lisa. One of the funniest memories I have about lisa Is when our grandmother gave Lisa an apple,Lisa bit the apple and said it was delicious,I asked for a bite and Lisa gave me a small bite. It was good, my mother then took a bite and loved it as well,then when Lisa got ready to bite into her apple again,She started crying out of no where LoL, my grandmother asked her what's wrong?My sister said that I gave my mom a bite of her apple, now it stinks and she was going to throw the apple away. My mom got mad and and threatened her if she threw it away,if you knew my mom, you know that was serious. Lisa looked me right in the eye and threw the apple at my mother's head. Everyone knew what happened after that, but Lisa was a person that stood her ground early on life and didn't mind telling you how she feels.Priscilla Went on to have 6 children And led a very Adventurous life Although the path may not have always led where she hoped, Lisa managed to make the best out of everything, and seemed to gather family wherever she went.

 In her free time, Priscilla loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted sister to siblings she leaves behind her siblings Paulette Collins , Ronald Sr., Alfred Collins , Charles Johnson and Eric Collins .Priscilla also leaves behind her loving children Shaneice, Shawntoya,Tony Latoya, and Eric. She was also a proud grandmother to her many grandchildren. Priscilla was preceded in death by her brother ,Tyrone Brown , and her daughter Denisha Collins.

Services for Priscilla will be held on December,6th 2023 at 12pm at Douglaus and Donway Funeral home . In lieu of flowers, the family is truly grateful for all the flower, prayers, phone calls, donations and concern, we can only pray that Priscilla os remembered for her good heart and her life be a lesson to those that follow.

Priscilla Watkins will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. May she rest in peace.
