He grew up in Dumas, Arkansas and Liberal, Kansas. He graduated Liberal High School in Liberal, Kansas. class of 1987. after he succeed onto National Beef Packing Co. migrating to Kanasas City KS in 1998 with his family, wife and 3 children at the time, later to attend truck driving school. at Swift Truck Driving School in Kansas city KS in 1998 to receive his CDL (?Commercial Driving License) accomplishing the completion of that, he worked here and many other companies for 15 years of his life. later pursuing his passion for housing projects. painting and remodling houses. for his Business P Make Ready Services. In continuing his business he also returned back to the labor field of work self contracting for Google Fiber. dropping vaults and running fiber line. and also continuing his business P's Make Ready. Preston Guy Wilburn is truly a one in a million man and a jack of all traits.

he was a Christian man who loved god, he loved to barbeque on the grill, cook in the kitchen and make magic. have a good time at family gatherings playing dominos and spades. making memories, joy of laughter, hearing the kids run around having a good time. he was a fitness enthusiast, an avid dog lover, he loved spending hours on the lake waters fishing, with family, friend or his self listening to nature calling. he was an extrem sports fan! a die hard fan for Arkansas Razorback, and KU Jayhawks. he was our family Ironman and Superman who loved supported and protected his family from the heart.

Preston was survived by his father Luster Wilburn Sr. (Dumas Arkansas) wife of 26 years but now are good friends Flecia Jackson,(Kansas City, MO their 5 daughters Kieshan Wilburn,(Kansas City, KS) Serena Wilburn, Shlonda Wilburn, Shakyra Wilburn, Louchrissa Wilburn,(Kansas City, Mo) 10 grandchildren (Kansas city MO & KS) along with beloved significant other Teffiany Evans. (Hutchinson KS) his loving siblings 3 brothers Luster Jr. & Debra Wilburn (Olathe KS) Felix & Donna Wilburn (Wichita KS) Larry Davis (Liberal KS) 4 sisters Brenda Washington, Rosemary & Wallace Butts (Kansas City KS) Paulette & Kieth Aipperspach, (Gillette, Wy) Crystal Wilburn (Liberty Mo) a host of Uncles, Aunties and Cousins.
