Pinkie Willie North was born on May 18, 1944, in Peachtree City, GA to the late John Allen Heard and Mary Lou North. She was the youngest of four children. Three sisters, one son, and one daughter preceded her in death: Bar-bara Ann North, Betty Gedden, Mary Ann North, Isteny North, and Sonya Hitton.

Pinkie was a private duty nurse for over 36 years. She cared for and was loved by many. Pinkie was a self- less woman of God. She loved planting, sewing, picking fruit, and shopping at her junk' stores.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Justine North and Shanta Smith; two sons, Jeff North and Larry D. Lakes (Phylicia); six granddaughters, Alison Smith, Keyanna Wynn, Kalichia Williams (Dwight), Akeya Lakes, Tia Friday, and Laila Lakes, five grandsons, Jeffrey O., Roy Maddox, Otis Johnson, Derico Lakes, and Larry Lakes Jr. nine great grandchildren, Derrin Wynn, Diamond Wynn, Kalayla Bars, Dareon Maddox, Leah Barns, Raydyn Rudedge, Jkhari Rutledge, Madison Williams, and Dwight Williams Je; and a host of other relatives and frends. Family and friends of Pinkie will miss her, but her loving memory will continue too live forever.
