Pillis Fleming, a beloved member of the Davenport, Iowa community, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born on May 4, 1929, and grew up in Davenport, Iowa.

After completing her education at Davenport High School, Pillis went on to live a fulfilling life as a devoted wife to her husband Leroy, whom she married in 1952. Together, they raised one son named Rick, who brought immense joy and pride to their lives.

Pillis was a kind and nurturing mother, and her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family. She adored her eight grandchildren and cherished the precious moments she shared with them.

Throughout her life, Pillis was known for her warm and caring nature, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
