Phyllis Lollar, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York. She was born on March 22, 1955, to Vernell Lollar Sr. and Ida Mae Lollar.

Phyllis is survived by her partner, Morris Edward Lollar, her children Vernell Lollar (spouse Monique McQueen-Lollar) and Nicole Marie Lollar, and her three grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first.

Phyllis attended West Point High School, where she excelled academically and graduated in 1972. She then went on to study at the University of Georgetown, where she graduated in 1976 with a degree in Political Science.

After completing her education, Phyllis joined the Secret Service, where she had a successful career until her retirement in 2020. Prior to her time with the Secret Service, Phyllis served in the Navy as a Lieutenant in the Intelligence unit for 12 years.

Phyllis had many hobbies and interests, with cooking being one of her favorites. She loved to experiment with new recipes and cook for her family and friends.

Phyllis will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis Lollar passed away due to a heart attack/stroke. May she rest in peace.
