Phyllis Hylton, beloved resident of Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 103.

Phyllis was born on March 20, 1922 and lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a devoted wife to Jonathan Hylton for 78 years, and together they raised 10 children. Phyllis was a dedicated mother to Rodney, Erdel, Jasmine, Bentley, Kim, Isaiah, Jermaine, John, Dennis, and David.

Phyllis was also a loving grandmother to 24 grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Patricia Pacenza, Paula Pacenza, Paulette Flynn, Kevin Grant ,Melanie Martinez, David Hylton Jr, Debbie Hylton, Kevin Hylton,Demetrius Hylton, Desmond Hylton , Kimberly Hylton, Joyce Jones, Alvin Jones, Gavin Hylton, Rodney Davis, Faith Hylton, Calvin Hylton, Dodge Jones, Kevin Hylton, Samuel Hylton, Isaac Hylton, Billy Jones, Sarah Jones, Eddie Johnson, Steven Hylton, Gregory Hylton

Throughout her life, Phyllis was known for her kindness, generosity, and warm smile. She had a strong faith and was an active member of her community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
