We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Phyllis Dawson, who left us on January 30, 2025, in La Grange, North Carolina, United States. She was born on May 17, 1961, to her parents Henry Jones and Tessie Martin-Whitfield.

Phyllis was married to her beloved spouse William Dawson in 1994, and together they raised two wonderful children, Deidre Boyette and Shantel Dawson. She was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren.

Phyllis attended Eastern Wayne High School and later went on to work at RHA Howell's. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching cooking shows, exercising around the house, and chatting on the phone with friends.

Phyllis will be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart. She brought joy and love to everyone she met, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Phyllis. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
