Philomena D Sturtevant was born on July 25, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to Edna and Talbert Sturtevant who proceeded her in death. Philomena later moved to Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Second Metropolitan Baptist Church, where she confessed a life in Christ.  She graduated from Cuyahoga Community College. She worked at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio for 30 years ,which she retired from in 2011.

She was blessed with two loving sons, Mark A. Sturtevant (Deceased) , and Michael J. Davis. Philomena loved everyone dearly. She was full of joy,love,life and happiness. Her life  was amazing. She loved spending qualitytime with her family and friends. She always loved family gatherings.

She leaves behind 5 brothers , Eddie (deceased) , "Fremont" Bernard, Larry, Walter, and Nathaniel, 1 sister Tonya, 5 granchildren Shantyle, Little Mark Jr., Miaya, Carliana and London. She also left behind her Metro family , who loved her dearly. Many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends who holds her dear in their hearts.
