Phillip Thomas, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024. Phillip was born on February 9, 1952, to the late Phillip Thomas Sr. and Naomi Trice in Nashville, TN. Phillip lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by his loving family.
After Graduating from Springfield High School in 1970, Phillip worked as a quality inspector for International Automotive Components for 40 years. Once retired, Phillip pursued his passion for baseball by becoming a little league baseball coach. He was known for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and irresistible hugs.
In June of 1973, Phillip married the love of his life, Linda Hines. To this union, they raised five wonderful children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his loving parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, his son Christopher Thomas, and his brother James Martin.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories of four daughters; Dianna Thomas, Gabriella(Chadwick) Hernandez, Evelyn(Brandon) Northington, and Lucinda Thomas. Three grandchildren; Tamia, Ayden, and Issac. One great-grandchild; Kaleb. Two brothers; Darnell (Eugena) Thomas, and William Thomas. He also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Though he may no longer be with us, Phillip's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
