Phillip John Kennedy1963 - 2014Phillip Kennedy, 50, of Louisville, Ky., passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Jan. 27, 2014.Phil was born on April 15, 1963, in Kenosha, to John T. and Barbara (Niedzolkowski) Kennedy Jr.He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, his aunt, Mary Hoffman; his stepfather, Clyde Staats and niece, Tara Davidson. His niece, Dawn has also since passed.Phil leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Ann Kennedy (Brittney); his mother, Barbara Staats; brother, Michael (Bridget); sisters, Susan (Kent) Davidson, Linda (Mike) Udulutch and Janet. Phil is also survived by aunts and uncles, Dolly, John, Debbie and Danny; step grandmother, Marion Niedzolkowski; nieces, Tracy, Kristi, Barbara and nephew, John.Along with his family left to mourn his passing are the Roy and Hanson families.Phil grew up as a north side kid, attending Harvey Elementary and Washington Jr. High.Flipper, as his father lovingly nicknamed him, made friends with every life he touched. He would do anything to help anyone in need including driving six hours north because of his daughter, sister or a friend needed his help.Graduating from Bradford High School in 1981 Phillip worked for RH Machining and Borque Petroleum (Petro Mart) before moving to Kentucky in 1993. The family will be holding a celebration of Phils life on March 8, 2014, and ask that memorials be made to Phils daughter and family.
