Marsom,Jr.Port SanilacPORT SANILAC- Philip O.  Marsom, Jr., age 84,a resident of Port Sanilac  passed away on  Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at home with family at his side. He was born on July 3, 1932 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, a son of the late Philip O., Sr. and Lura (Culver) Marsom.   Phil  married Alice Casey on April 22, 1953 in Farmington, Michigan.  They were married for  64 years. Phil was a Korean War veteran who upon returning home worked at Yale Rubber, opened a snowmobile dealership in the 60's in Port Sanilac, developed and sold real estate, was the county assessor and the church treasurer for many years.Phil is survived by his wife Alice Marsom; his daughter Dawn (Chuck) Rowling; his son Kelly (Mary) Marsom; grandson Adam Marsom; and sister Jeanette.He was preceded in death by a daughter Cara. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Port Sanilac United Methodist Church.  A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the service.  Rev.
