Mohr, PeterPeter Lee Mohr, 61, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2016, after complications from by-pass surgery. He was born on July 16, 1955, in Green Bay to John and Beatrice (Boyea) Mohr. On July 12, 1980, he married Mary Kreft at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay. Pete worked as a journeyman electrician, electrical and instrumentation. His past employment was at Peterson Builders, Nicolet Paper, and Banta. He was currently employed with Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District.Pete was hardworking and intelligent, he loved a mental challenge and could fix anything. He was a jokester and a very warm hearted person who will be missed by all who knew him.Pete is survived by his wife, Mary and their two children, Master Sergeant Michael (Kirsten) Mohr, Lompoc, CA; Nicholas (Jessica) Mohr, San Diego, CA; and two beautiful grandchildren, Aiden and Kylie. He is further survived by brothers, John (Judy) Mohr, Rockford, IL; James (Terri) Mohr, Waterloo, WI; mother-in-law, Virginia Kreft, sister-in-law, Sonya (Doug) Jorns; nieces, nephews and many friends. Also, his two dogs, Big Jetta and Sassy Kia.Pete was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Marvin Kreft; and a brother-in-law, Robert Kreft.Pete was a no frills guy except for his tools. So in keeping with that, we will hold a visitation at the Forbes Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating.
