Garlieb, Perry H.Perry H. Garlieb, 56, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 after a 7 year battle with cancer, joining his dad in Heaven.Perry was born on October 17, 1960 in Sheboygan, son of "Trudy" Edeltraud (Schundner) Garlieb and the late Herbert Garlieb.He attended Kiel High School.Perry was a very social guy who enjoyed meeting new people and loved spending time with family and friends and his dog, Scooby-Doo.He enjoyed sharing the holiday of Thanksgiving for many years, preparing meals for people who didn't have the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner.Survivors include his mother, Trudy, brothers and sisters: Karin (Darwin) Menzer, Plymouth, Sharon (Manfred) Hobmeier, Kiel, Sandra (Steven) Grapentine, Kiel, Jay (Kim) Garlieb, Kiel, Pamela (Randall) Themar, Little Chute, twelve nieces, nephews and two great-nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles; Carolyn & Raymond Diem, Edwin & Betty Garlieb, Gary & Pam Garlieb, his close friend, Christopher Campbell and his dog, Scooby-Doo.He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert on June 30, 2017 and his grandparents.Funeral services for Perry will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, WI with Rev. Ted Olson officiating.Burial will take place in the church cemetery.Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.Online condolences at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel. Perry's family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Cindy Northup for the care given to him over the years. Also thanks to the staff at Morningside Health Care and Sharon S.
